The boys had an impressive victory this Saturday to start of the academic year. They were losing by 6 points in the 4th quarter and overcame the deficit in the last 2 minutes to win the game. Congratulations HAWKS.

A mixed group from different schools (St Francis, St Paul’s, Graded, Gracinha, Vera Cruz) got together, organized by Esporte União sports travel company, and played the two most important youth football tournaments in the word: Helsinki and Gothia Cups

From July 22nd to 30th, St. Francis College participated of one of the biggest tournaments of South America, the Buenos Aires Cup. Some of our children born in 2005 and 2006, represented our school. We played 5 official and 2 friendly matches against schools and clubs from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Panamá, etc. kids had the chance to interact and with kids from many cultures.

Apart form the football tournament, they spent some time visiting important landmark in Buenos Aires, such as Casa Rosada, Obelisco, Caminito, Puerto Madero and the Boca Juniors and River Plate Stadiums. It was a great opportunity to learn about cultural aspects of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
